schnauzerFor those dog lovers out there, the Lone Star State Classic is the place to be this weekend. The Classic is a four-day dog show occurring twice a year in Dallas. It includes three regional dog clubs, all members of the American Kennel Club. The dog clubs being represented are the Texas Kennel Club, Trinity Valley Kennel Club, and Greater Collin Kennel Club.

This is a major dog show event in the Dallas area and a must-see for all pet enthusiasts. It is also a great opportunity to venture out to Dallas for the day or the weekend for a change of scenery. Tickets can be purchased at the door during the event at the Dallas Market Hall. General admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-12. Children under the age of 5 are free.

The show begins at 8 am on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and doors open at 7:30 am. Get ready to cheer for your favorites! For a complete list of breeds and the times they will be shown, visit the Lone Star State Classic’s Day by Day calendar on their website and click on Ring Show & Time Listing.
