We recently found a wonderful article from Men’s Health that is full of great fitness tips and we decided to share a few of our favorites with you! Check them out:

  • Keep your weight training sessions under one hour. After this time, your body begins to produce more of the stress hormone cortisol which will inhibit muscle growth.
  • Save time and only rest when you need to. Don’t worry about scheduling rests during your workout. Instead, simply take a quick breather as needed.
  • Replace your shoes. Your shoes should only last about 500 miles. After that you need to get rid of them. Running or jogging in worn out shoes is terrible for your knees.
  • Don’t try to lose weight by doing sit-ups. Using this method will only disappoint you since it takes about 250,000 crunches to burn 1 pound of fat!
